Team Rescue will restore order and rebuild the victims of Hurricane Katrina. These collaborated efforts are designed in three phases to assist those in need.
Phase I- Getting People Out!
Master P and "Team Rescue" will travel to Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi to meet with government and local officials to coordinate additional rescue efforts for those citizens still stranded in Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi. It is Team Rescue's mission to not leave one person left behind, and help restore order in the lives of the victims.
Phase II-Team Rescue One Family at a Time!
There are thousands of families displaced as a result of this tragedy, but Team Rescue is commited to help rebuild and restore families. During phase two, our efforts will be focused on putting order back into the lives of families. We will begin our focus on those who truly want to be helped and have the potential of being productive citizens in their new environment. We realize there are numerous projects being developed to assist, and we cannot do this alone, therefore our approach will be to start with rebuilding families, one family at a time!
Team R.E.S.C.U.E. stands for the following:

Rebuild Families- We will collaborate with local housing complexes to provide 2-3 bedroom apartments for displaced families. Each family will be assigned a Team R.E.S.C.U.E. coordinator to assist with their transition.
Education- The Team R.E.S.C.U.E. coordinator will assist in getting students placed in school. Team R.E.S.C.U.E. will partner with local educators and college students to provide tutoring on an as-needed basis.
Support Services-Team R.E.S.C.U.E. will ensure the safety of the families supported and provide support services to get them acclimated to their new environment, including transportation passes.
Counseling-Team R.E.S.C.U.E. will partner with local counselors and organizations to provide counseling to displaced families.
Unity-Team R.E.S.C.U.E. will focus on uniting families and helping to build their faith and put order back into their lives.
Employment-Team R.E.S.C.U.E.'s primary goal is to restore order. Therefore we will make concentrated efforts to get able adults back into the workforce. We will work with local organizations to provide interview and job skills training to ensure positive job placement.
